Oppose SB 15 (Usurping Local Control)

April 3

Passing SB 15 would allow Austin to deny a local municipality the right to make decisions about compensation and benefits for their employees. SB 15 threatens nondiscrimination ordinances and undermining paid sick leave.

Suggested text {when calling…}:

My name is {name} and I am a constituent who lives in {town/district}. I am calling to ask you to vote NO on SB 15. SB 15 will undermine the rights of cities to determine their own employment and trade protections. The State should not usurp local authorities ability to serve their communities. Please vote NO on SB 15!
